Missing woman found safe

A woman who was the subject of a Garda search in Old Kilcullen today has been found safe, writes Brian Byrne.

In addition to Garda personnel, the Garda helicopter and Dog Unit were involved in the operation which was in train for most of the day.

Earlier this evening, Naas Garda issued an appeal for information on the whereabouts of Geraldine Hopkins, from Naas, who was last seen leaving a relative's house in Old Kilcullen at 5.22am on foot.
