A number of members of Kilcullen Community Action will be travelling to the event. Kilcullen was the town chosen by Kildare County Council to represent the county in the competition.
"Here's hoping for some recognition for Kilcullen and the work done by all the groups and businesss in the town to make it a great place to live," says KCA chairman Ray Kelly.
"Kilcullen has shown that it is a very enterprising town and will continue to do so whether we feature in the prizes or not."
The judging was done in early September, at an event which included presentations by business, community and social organisations in the town.
